Founded in 2012 by our very own local superhero, Sanna Jacobs, our daycare in Postmasburg has been a loving, safe space for little ones aged 1 to 5 years. Here, children laugh, play, and learn every day — growing in confidence, curiosity, and joy!

Our Story
More than 15 years ago, Sanna Jacobs began caring for children in a small zinc shack in Postmasburg with no running water — yet filled with love and laughter. Surrounded by barefoot children drawn to her warmth and dedication, Sanna became a pillar of hope in the community.
Today, with the support of partners like Rufco, Zincover D.I.Y and Oryx Crushers, her vision has grown into the Kids Safety Haven: a nurturing space that provides meals, school support, hygiene education, emotional care, and empowerment for women and youth. Thanks to ongoing contributions, the Haven now has a safe building, running water, a kitchen, and dedicated caregivers.
Together, we continue building a stronger, more caring community — one child at a time.
